Just a reminder of what happend 25 years ago today!
Pontypool 18 Swansea 6 in the final of the Schweppes WRU Challenge Cup final at National Stadium. The only try of the game was scored by Pooler left wing Bleddyn Taylor. Full back Dr Peter Lewis kicked the conversion and four penalties to 2 penalties by Swansea full back Roger Blyth.
The Pontypool team that day was:

On Pooler’s replacements bench were: Stuart Rogers, David Hussey, Chris Jones, Mike Crowley, Steve O’Donoghue and Haydn Moreton.

We have been continually trying to sort the exact time with Fleur De Lys for Several days due to the lighting situation. As far as we are concerned the time will be 6:30 as stated.
This will be subject to Flower having all their players there which has been the sticking point all along. I am sure you will understand that some things are out of our control. If all their players do not turn up on time then it may be the case it could be 7pm, 30 minutes later!
